Due to circumstances beyond our control we have had to cancel this Panel. We hope to reschedule it for sometime next year.

What is this new license coming into force? Why is it only targeting urban events? How can promoters prepare themselves to adhere to the new laws?
Why Urban Event Promoters In London Will Soon Need A License. Due to the rise in police being called to Urban events, there is a new promoters license being issued. It will apparently be illegal for any venue to hold an urban event without the promoter having an official promoters license. The license courses come with a big charge and are apparently in place to protect the more serious promoters. This will obviously cut down the number of Urban events in UK and most likely cut out some of the nonsense, but what are the knock-on effects? Why is it just Urban events? If there is trouble at an event will that promoter lose their license?
